Pushpa Gujral Science City is one of the largest science cities in India. The Pushpa Gujral Science City at Jalandhar was built over an area of 72 acres of land. The Pushpa Gujral Science City at Jalandhar is located on the Jalandhar-Kapurthala road and is named after the mother of Shri I K Gujral, the former Prime Minister of India. Pushpa Gujral Science City is the second science city of India and aims at providing education, along with fun and amusement. Pushpa Gujral Science City is the biggest project of its kind in the northern part of India. It contains an 18 foot high model of dinosaur and a GSLV missile. The museum also houses a globe that is made of 26 lakh tiles. The kids’ park containing swings, rides, bouncers, etc. attracts huge tourist traffic. Besides, we also come across an artificial lake in the science city. The lake, housed in the Science City, forms the center of attraction. The lake allows the tourists to indulge in pedal boating. Taxi : Jalandhar is well connected by a road network and national Highway. The tourist can reach to Jalandhar by taxi. The normal Indian taxi charges of Rupees 8 to 20 will be charged for each km.

BUS : The city of Jalandhar is connected extensively from many places in northern India. Buses are available from different states such as Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Tickets are cheap and prices vary depending on the distance. Autos are available to the city from the bus stand.

Train : Jalandhar has a railway station that is well connected to places such as Delhi, Amritsar, Jammu and others. Train tickets from Delhi cost around Rs 200 for a second class non A/C compartment. It is advisable to pre book taxis through the hotels for pick up.

Air : The closest airport is located in the city of Amritsar and this is an international airport with excellent connectivity to many countries.
